30 or out of debt = a trip to Ireland

Recently, I've been doing a lot of thinking about how I'm going to be 27 in February and I'm still living at home because I'm up to my eyeballs in debt. I've also been doing some thinking about how I SOOOOOO very much want to go on a trip to Ireland.  Now I've got myself a little incentive to get myself out of debt faster!  I've decided that I'm going to reward myself with a trip to Ireland when 1 of these 2 things happens:
1. I get out of debt.

2. I turn 30.

So that is where you all come in....I am looking for advice in the forms of:

~ blogs
~forums
~tips
~personal stories - you can e-mail me privately if you would like
~etc.

On the subjects of budgeting, frugal living, debt reduction, or other area related to these subjects.  I need all the help that I can get and I need a giant cheering section to keep me on track.  Because by the end of this whole thing the name of my blog could very well be my state of mind!

Also, has anyone out there ever been to Ireland?  I've never even been on an airplane so I really have no idea what to expect!  If you have or you know someone who has I am looking for all sorts of information....basically anything I can get my hands on!  So feel free to fire away!

Literally, I'm all ears!

I'm on VACATION!

I'm finally on vacation from work.  We had a HORRIBLE back to school season at the store that I work at and I seriously thought that this week would never get here!  Now I'm on vacation until next Friday and I've got ZERO plans!  Yeah me!

Welcome to the Jungle

** Cue the Gun's N Roses song **

This is what one's room looks like when you work in retail and Back to School season rolls around.  It's just as bad during Christmas too!

Now this is what happens when one get's tired of tripping over stuff and cleans up. It's not done but a vast improvement from what it was.

Possessed by Nikon part uno

I took this picture about 20 minutes ago and I LOVE IT!

Mockingjay, Weather and Cleaning.....OH MY!

After a summer of "Hotter than Hell" weather here in my little corner of Southwest Wisconsin we're finally getting a little break from it.  Yesterday was the first day in a couple of months where we've actually turned off the AC, opened up the windows and NOT roasted to death.  We're supposed to be like this weather wise for a couple more days and I can hardly wait!

Even the dogs were happy and they are complete wussy's when it comes to heat, rain, or just most weather conditions in general.

Don't really have all that much planned for today....mostly finish cleaning up my "jungle" and laundry.  Might get some blogging in too.  I'm definately going to be watching for the UPS man.....My copy of Mockingjay, which is the final book in The Hunger Games trilogy is due to arrive today!  If you haven't read The Hunger Games books I highly recommend them!  They are AWESOME SAUCE!

Hi everybody!

Hello there fellow bloggers/internet surfers!  My name is Jamie and this is my personal blog where I "keep it real."  This is not my first blog at all....I am currently running 2 other blogs....my book blog - The Book Junkie's Bookshelf and my photography blog JHanna Photography. If your on Twitter you can find me @bookjunkie221.

One of my favorite hobbies besides reading is digital photography...hence the photography blog.  I just bought myself a Nikon D3000 this past February and I LOVE it! It takes VERY crisp photos and it's extremely easy to learn. Plus, my mom has a Nikon D60 so we can share each other's lenses!

This photo was taken with my D3000.  Isn't it pretty!?  This is a photo of Stephen Falls which is a water fall that flows year round at one of our local State Parks.

I am also the proud parent of a 15.5 pound Shih Tzu mix that I adopted out of a local animal shelter on Mother's Day 2009.  Her name is Augusta but we call her Gus, Gussy, Gusser, Wee One, Spuddy Bud and the scary part is that she answers to them all.

That's my Gussy rocking out her center part!  Spoiled rotten and UBER cute.  She has a "sister" too.  Her name is Laci and she's our 8 year old Cocker Spaniel.  Both of them are spoiled and sassy as hell.

So I hope that everyone has a great day and thanks for stopping by!
